Zap Chen Somatics is a series of light-hearted practices with deep emotional and health benefits. Learn somatic tools to support mental and physical health for ourselves and our communities. Together we'll yawn, nap, jiggle and laugh our way to better health.
INTRODUCTION TO SCIENCE-BACKED MINDFULNESS
6-8 week courses that rewire the brain for gratitude, comfort and perspective during challenging times. Join our experiential mindfulness programs that will introduce a variety of basic mindfulness skills to reduce stress and enhance focus.
GATHER: INTERNATIONAL HEALING CIRCLE
A group meditation program where we practice with Somatic tools to help regulate the nervous system and share in companion circles. This program is ideal for open and close knit groups looking to connect virtually. Includes pre-program intake and personalized content.
STRESS MANAGEMENT AND SELF-CARE FOR HIGH ACHIEVERS
These one-on-one coaching sessions are tailored for high achieving people who are looking to develop better balance, communication skills and healthier habits to take care of themselves and benefit their larger communities. We integrate mindfulness and somatic tools into this coaching experience to provide a unique entry point for healing and deep intuition.
TRAUMA-INFORMED FACILITATION TRAINING
Emotional processing for groups from diverse backgrounds looking to build healthier personal practices. We incorporate mindset and processing practices, breath-work, movement and healing tools based on your needs.
SELF-CARE FOR CARE TAKERS
In this program, we present best practice research in mindfulness, wellbeing and compassionate care initiatives for major medical systems throughout the United States. We also work closely with existing mindfulness and wellness teams at hospitals to enhance their own teaching and facilitation skills.
