The Healing Triangle

The experience of trauma is personal, it can look like a specific traumatic event (COVID-19 or a car accident), or a lifetime of struggle (poverty, illness, abuse.) Trauma isn’t what happened to us, but how it lives in our body. As such, we personalize each program based on the challenges, needs and goals of our clients.

If you want to really make positive strides, consider all 3:

Coaching, Community, Consistency.

Here is our basic framework:

Coaching

A coach's role is to provide instruction that enhances your performance. It usually comes from a place that is more comprehensive than your own in terms of experience or level of understanding.

By taking part in our mindful minis or 1:1 sessions with Erin, you’ll experience guided interactive activities revolving around the theme of breath, movement, and mindset. She draws on various fields of expertise depending on client needs, but each program is guided by thought leaders in the fields of neuroscience, growth mindset, compassionate communication, and mindful movement.

Community

You're probably familiar with the idea that you are a combination of the five people with whom you spend most of your time. If that's the case, then the behavior of the people around you is simply mirrored. Simply change the people you surround yourself with if you want to create change in your life, and the things that affect you will be more aligned with those people's behaviors.

By taking part of our group mindfulness programs like our Gather Healing Circle, you become a part of an intimate, non-judgmental environment that boosts your self-esteem and encourages positive reflection.

Consistency

In order to make changes in a meaningful way, you must be committed and responsible for taking action. Consistency is very difficult, especially for good habits that provide delayed fulfillment, but engaging in being consistent upfront is crucial to get the ultimate payoff you want.

We work with key stakeholders to access the tangible benefits of each program, using both quantitative and qualitative measures. Our Intro to Science-Backed Mindfulness and Simple Mind-Body Tools online courses meet weekly for a 60-minute experiential mindfulness program that will introduce a variety of basic mindfulness skills to reduce stress and enhance focus.

By joining us regularly, you’ll be able to create a space between stimulus and response and learn how to combat negativity bias with gratitude and gentle self-talk.
